About SupplyPoint
SupplyPoint is a global leader in intelligent inventory management and asset control solutions. Our hardware and software ecosystem, automated vending machines, progressive drawer systems, carousels, smart lockers, electronic cabinets, and our VendTel, WebSync, and EndPoint software suite, helps manufacturers, distributors, and industrial operators gain real-time control over critical tools, consumables, MRO materials, PPE, and high-value assets. With 25+ years in the market, we serve customers across manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, healthcare, and logistics.
The Role
This is a hunter-builder position. You will own a defined territory and carry full quota responsibility for new logo acquisition. You build pipeline through intelligent outbound effort, channel pathways, and your professional network, not through inbound volume. If you have been waiting for someone to hand you leads, this is not the right seat.
You understand the operational pressures of manufacturing floors and industrial environments. You know how to get to the right people, earn their trust, and close complex deals. You can walk a plant floor and present an ROI model in front of a CFO the same day.
What You Will Do
- Own an assigned territory and drive new logo acquisition through cold calling, targeted outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, trade show networking, and distributor partner relationships
- Lead the full sales cycle from first contact through discovery, product demonstration, ROI and TCO modeling, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Build and present compelling ROI analyses that tie SupplyPoint solutions to reduced consumption, eliminated downtime, shrinkage control, and labor savings
- Identify and engage key decision-makers across operations, supply chain, IT, procurement, and finance
- Develop deep product knowledge across SupplyPoint’s full hardware portfolio (progressive drawers, carousels, smart lockers, electronic cabinets, kiosk systems) and software suite (VendTel, WebSync, EndPoint)
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, deal-stage discipline, and activity records in Salesforce; forecast consistently
- Build and activate distributor and channel partner relationships to extend market coverage
- Represent SupplyPoint at industry events including MODEX, ProMat, and sector-specific manufacturing and aerospace expos
- Feed competitive intelligence and market feedback back to sales leadership and product teams
Industries You Will Sell Into
- Discrete and process manufacturing (metalworking, fabrication, electronics assembly, plastics, food & bev, consumer goods, industrial products)
- Aerospace and defense (commercial and military MRO, OEM production floors, tool cribs)
- Automotive (OEM plants, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, body shops, fleet maintenance)
- Energy, utilities, and oil and gas (field maintenance, plant shutdowns, storeroom management)
- Healthcare, biotech, medical device, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Industrial distribution and MRO distributors as channel partners
- Warehousing and logistics (3PLs, retail, wholesale distributors)
Who We Are Looking For
You have a track record that shows you go get business, not manage accounts someone else built. Specifically:
- You have consistently opened net-new accounts that did not exist in your pipeline when you arrived
- You have closed six-figure deals and you are not embarrassed to say how many calls it took
- You know how to map a buying organization, identify the economic buyer, and navigate around gatekeepers without burning the relationship
- You have walked plant floors, attended trade shows as a seller, and asked uncomfortable qualifying questions because you would rather lose early than waste three months
- You have built and presented ROI models to plant managers, VPs of Operations, and CFOs, and adjusted your pitch based on which room you were in
- You treat your pipeline like a business: you know your conversion rates, average deal size, cycle length, and what is stalling in each stage
- You have competed against MSC Industrial, Fastenal, Grainger, or similar industrial vending competitors and know how to win on value, not price

- Willingness to travel up to 40% within territory for customer meetings, site visits, and events (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience (Required)
