Full Job Description

Operations Manager (Order Management/EDI)

The candidate will oversee a team of 3-5 people that are responsible for management of top retail accounts from the time of order entry to the time of shipping and invoicing. This person should be knowledgeable in general order processing, ASN/UCC requirements, Routing and Bill of lading requirements. This team member will be responsible to communicate with OPS, Customer Service, Import, 3PL warehouses daily, keeping everyone up to date with current order status to ensure timely delivery to our customers. These duties include but not limited to; management of incoming orders, order entry, allocations, inventory accuracy, and general inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Oversee a small Operations Team while successfully completing all operations duties simultaneously
Manage, track, and release all open orders for your assigned accounts to ensure timely shipping from our warehouse to customer
Maintain, follow, and implement customer’s routing requirements
Solve unresolved customer issues and investigate chargebacks
Work with 3PL’s to prepare & process shipping documents following customer’s requirements: sales orders, vas requirements (i.e., Price tickets), packing lists, BOL, shipping labels.
Review 3PL Open order reports containing total shipments and open order status
Maintain strong lines of communication between EDI dept, Customer Service depts and Warehouse contacts.
Responsible for Sales Order Revisions and Sales Order Creation from Production orders.
Ensure all backup BOL shipping docs are uploaded into system in a timely manner.
Provide backup-support where additional coverage is needed
Handle all communication requests from Customer Service regarding order status in a timely manner
Be able to handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Previous experience managing a team
Previous experience in distribution and operations. (5+ years)
EDI experience required. (Raw Data 850/860 data analysis)
RLM Apparel Software ERP experience a big +++
Strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook skills
Able to work independently as part of team
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
