Patent Attorney or Patent Agent (Electrical Engineering Degreed)

SALARY RANGE: $150,000 - $270,000 per year (Based on experience and qualifications) LOCATIONS: New York, NY | San Francisco, CA | Washington, DC

THE OPPORTUNITY Join a premier, internationally recognized law firm that operates at the intersection of business and innovation. We are seeking an intellectually curious Patent Prosecution Attorney or Agent with at least 3++ years of experience to join our elite team. ROLE OVERVIEW In this client-facing role, you will have the autonomy to work directly with world-class inventors and scientists. You will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting high-stakes U.S. and international patent applications within the healthcare and AI/ML sectors.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Background: Must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3++ years of patent prosecution experience, specifically with healthcare technologies and related ML/AI applications.
Credentials: USPTO registration is required. Attorney applicants must hold an active admission to the state bar in their respective jurisdiction.
Skills: Proven track record in drafting/prosecuting patent applications, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Writing: Exceptional writing skills are essential. Applicants must provide a patent application writing sample and transcripts.
