Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sign Maker/Installer to bring visual communications to life through expertly crafted signage. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing a wide variety of signs that effectively communicate brand identity and enhance visual environments. Duties
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to interpret sign specifications and ensure alignment with branding standards.
- Prepare detailed design files for print production using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator
- Create compelling visual concepts incorporating typography, color theory, digital art, and branding principles to develop eye-catching signage.
- Fabricate signs using various materials and techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Install signs accurately on-site, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques for different surfaces and environments.
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify alignment, durability, and overall appearance of the signage.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, installation schedules, and inventory of sign materials.
Experience
- Proven experience (Minimum 3 Years) in graphic design or sign manufacturing with a strong portfolio showcasing print design, digital art, and visual communication projects.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator)
- Knowledge of sign fabrication techniques such as vinyl cutting, digital printing, 3D lettering, and other relevant processes.
- Familiarity with technical aspects like color management, prepress procedures for print production, and sign installation methods.
- Understanding of branding principles and ability to translate client concepts into effective visual solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
