Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Position Summary & Department Overview

Role Summary: Provide inpatient pharmacy services and clinical support across hospital departments. Must be willing and able to work independently, specifically on weekends.
Supported Departments: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Labor & Delivery (L&D), Medical/Surgical (M/S), and Emergency Department (ED).
Practice Setting: Critical Access Hospital environment in a rural location. (Note: Housing in this rural region can be challenging; housing arrangements should be reviewed prior to submission).

Shift Details & Schedule

Shift Type: Days
Weekday Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shifts (staggered start between 7:00 AM / 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM / 5:00 PM)
Weekend Requirements: Rotating coverage every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
On-Call Requirements: None

Submission & Candidate Experience Requirements

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of current hospital pharmacy experience (Required; 2–5 years preferred)
Candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered if all experience is hospital-based with proven Meditech experience
Critical Access Hospital experience (Highly Preferred)
Previous travel pharmacy experience (Highly Preferred)
Software & Systems:
Meditech EMR experience (Highly Preferred)
Omnicell automated dispensing system experience (Highly Preferred)
Radius & Residency Restrictions:
No local candidates. Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.

Skills Checklist: Pharmacist Skills Checklist, current within 1 year (Required)
Supervisory Reference: 1 signed reference from a supervisor within the past year of employment (Required)
State Licensure: Active New Hampshire State Pharmacist License (Will accept candidates applying at time of offer; license verification document required in submission file; all licenses must be current at submission)
Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS (Required)
Logistics & File Information:
Candidate's permanent address must be included in submission file.
