Come join a team of dedicated and compassionate RN's in a 25-bed state-of-the-art Psychiatric facility in Berlin, Vermont. Our mission at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital (VPCH) is to improve the health and well-being of Vermont's most vulnerable populations. We have immediate openings for experienced Registered Nurses on the night shift! Nurses function as fully integrated members of a multidisciplinary team while providing excellent psychiatric nursing care. Environmental Factors

Duties primarily performed in a clinical setting. Work may require travel off-site. Exposure to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, potentially physically and verbally violent patient population and other stressful situations may occur. May be required to work evenings, nights, weekends and extended shifts as the need arises.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of (or eligible for) licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont OR eligible to practice in the state of Vermont via a multi-state license AND three (3) years or more of professional nursing experience in the nursing specialty.

NOTE: Must maintain Vermont licensure or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse as a condition of employment.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Special Requirements

Overtime work is required to maintain minimum staffing levels and for unannounced regulatory inspections and is considered a condition of employment. The ability to work overtime when required is an essential function of this job class.
