Overview
Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your dedication and skills will directly impact the well-being of patients across diverse care settings. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality, personalized care to individuals of all ages and health conditions. Duties

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate medical documentation
Support medication administration under supervision, following strict protocols and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient safety
Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by ensuring proper positioning and comfort using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices during patient interactions
Document patient care activities accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for seamless communication among healthcare providers
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICU), behavioral health units, hospice care, and outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient service

Requirements

Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program with current state licensure or registration
Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to ensure accurate medical documentation and records management
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges, including dementia or Alzheimer's care
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward patient-centered care and teamwork in high-pressure situations such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU settings
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids
