Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal Assistant to join our growing real estate team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our team, helping manage real estate transactions from contract to closing.

No prior real estate title experience? No problem. While some administrative experience is preferred, we are fully willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a eagerness to learn, and an unwavering attention to detail. This is a fantastic entry-level or junior-level opportunity to build a long-term career in real estate law and title processing.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Assist title processors and paralegals with opening new files, data entry, and organizing digital and physical documents.
Order Processing: Learn to order and track necessary transaction components, including title searches, municipal lien searches, HOA estoppel letters, and mortgage payoffs.
Communication: Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact, answering phones, greeting clients, and routing messages to the appropriate team members.
Document Management: Help gather required documentation from buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders; assist with scanning, mailing, and filing post-closing packages.
Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule closing appointments for all parties involved.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1+ years of general administrative, clerical, or customer service experience preferred (legal or real estate experience is a plus, but not required).
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace). Experience with or ability to quickly learn industry software like Qualia.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a warm, "service-first" attitude when interacting with clients.
Organization: Strong multi-tasking skills, a knack for staying organized under deadlines, and a sharp eye for catching minor errors.
Motivation: High energy, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
