We are seeking a highly motivated Remanufacturing Materials Manager to lead inventory planning, materials management, and supply chain execution for our remanufacturing operation in Calera, Alabama. This role is critical to ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support customer demand while optimizing inventory investment and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all materials planning and inventory management activities for the remanufacturing facility.
Drive inventory strategies that balance customer service requirements with working capital objectives.
Manage MRP processes and material master data to ensure accurate planning and efficient material flow.
Lead monthly Supply Review and SIOP activities, aligning supply capabilities with customer demand.
Develop stocking strategies utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) methodologies.
Monitor and report key performance indicators including customer fill rate, inventory turns, inventory days on hand, and aging inventory.
Manage core material flow from procurement through production consumption.
Coordinate procurement of new components and materials as required.
Develop processes to effectively manage both stocked and made-to-order products.
Identify and reduce excess and obsolete inventory through data-driven decision making.
Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to proactively address supply challenges.
Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
Present planning and inventory performance results to plant and executive leadership.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years of experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with MRP systems and inventory management processes.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning and inventory initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with SIOP, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
SAP, M2M, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP experience.
APICS/ASCM, CPIM, or CSCP certifications are a plus.
Experience in rail, transportation, heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, or remanufacturing environments is preferred.
