Summary:

Provides technical oversight to Histology laboratory. Establishes technical standards and ensures continuous quality of services.
Prepares surgical specimens for evaluation by pathologist.

Qualifications

Education/Qualification

Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalentof training and experience
5 years experience in Histopathology laboratory

Board Certification Required

Skills

Ability to work with independently
Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
Able to speak and write English Fluently
Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
