Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operations of a vibrant hotel property. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape guest experiences, drive revenue growth, and foster a high-performing team. As the driving force behind daily hotel management, you will ensure exceptional service standards, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Your leadership will inspire staff, delight guests, and contribute to the hotel’s success in a competitive market.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance.
Supervise and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences aligned with brand standards.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management strategies and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability.
Implement and maintain hotel guest service standards to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and positive guest relations.
Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to streamline bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests.
Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a cohesive team.
Coordinate with departments on night audits, financial operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
Foster a welcoming environment for multilingual or bilingual guests by providing exceptional customer service tailored to diverse needs.

Skills

Proven experience in overseeing daily hotel operations with strong supervisory skills in hospitality management.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing hospitality teams and guiding staff towards shared goals.
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems with phone etiquette expertise.
Strong financial management skills including budgeting, revenue management, and managing hospitality operations budgets.
Exceptional managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and communicate expectations clearly.
Deep understanding of hotel guest service standards, guest relations, and customer service excellence.
Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele effectively.
Experience in resort or hotel environments with a focus on guest services and hospitality excellence.
Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality industry including staffing and training.
Ability to handle night audit procedures efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.
