Night Caregiver/Babysitter (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

Location: Hyattsville
Schedule: Night Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) every day
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced night caregiver/babysitter to provide overnight care for a baby. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in both professional caregiving and infant/babysitting care, with a strong commitment to ensuring the baby's safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive overnight care for the baby from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Feed the baby according to the established schedule.
Change diapers and maintain proper hygiene.
Soothe and comfort the baby when awake or fussy.
Monitor the baby's health, safety, and sleeping patterns throughout the night.
Follow the family's bedtime and nighttime routines.
Keep the baby's sleeping and play areas clean and organized.
Communicate any concerns, changes, or incidents to the parents promptly.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and calm environment at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a caregiver, nanny, babysitter, or infant care provider is required.
Experience caring for newborns and/or infants is highly preferred.
Patient, caring, trustworthy, and dependable.
Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive during overnight shifts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Must pass a background check.
Reliable transportation to and from work.

Preferred Skills

Experience with overnight infant care.
Knowledge of infant feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.
Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations.
Professional attitude and respect for family privacy.
