Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This position requires proficiency in medication administration, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as well as leading the pharmacy tech in good practice.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care, addressing any medication-related inquiries or concerns.
Prepare and label medications for distribution, ensuring proper dosage and administration routes are clearly indicated.
Conduct inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering and restocking medications as needed.
Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper inhalation techniques when applicable.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with pharmacy practices and advancements.

Requirements

Pharmacist License is required.
Experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
Proficiency in aseptic technique for the preparation of sterile products.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and network members.
Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving health outcomes through effective medication management.
