What you will do:
You will drive the member insights function, integrating data across systems to develop a comprehensive view of member relationships, identifying behavioral trends, and delivering insights that guide business strategy. This includes ownership of voice-of-member analytics, relationship health indicators, and predictive insights, while partnering closely with business and technology teams to ensure insights are actionable and aligned to organizational priorities.
You will also incorporate financial analytics and reporting support, providing insight into financial performance, product profitability, and revenue outcomes to enable data-driven decisions aligned to overall organizational performance by:
Member Insights & Voice of Member Analytics
- Serving as the primary analytics resource for member insights, including interpretation of voice-of member programs such as NPS, surveys, complaints, and feedback channel
- Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to identify drivers of member satisfaction, engagement, and attrition
- Defining and monitoring member relationship health indicators including engagement levels, product usage, and transaction activity
- Identifying early indicators of declining engagement and recommending actions.
- Conducting behavioral segmentation and cohort analysis.
Financial & Business Analysis
- Applying financial acumen to evaluate member profitability and product performance.
- Developing financial models to assess business strategies.
- Connecting member analytics with financial outcomes.
- Assisting with development of financial reporting.
Predictive Analytics & AI-Driven Insights
- Developing predictive models to support retention, growth, and risk mitigation.
- Utilizing statistical techniques and AI capabilities to forecast behavior and generate insights.
- Translating model outputs into actionable recommendations.
- Continuously refining models based on performance and business needs.
Data Integration & Enterprise Information View
- Supporting integration of data from multiple sources including core systems, CRM, transaction data, and feedback channels.
- Building dashboards/reports/visualizations; writing summaries/presentations; monitoring model performance; documenting assumptions/data definitions/model logic.
- Partnering with BI and business units to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Identifying data gaps and recommending improvements.
Business Partnership & Insight Activation
- Partnering with business units to define analytical needs and deliver insights.
- Providing recommendations supporting revenue growth, retention, risk awareness, and efficiency.
- Ensuring insights are shared with operational, product, and service teams.
- Supporting decision-making through reports and presentations.
Continuous Improvement & Analytics Excellence
- Identifying opportunities to improve analytics processes and tools.
- Contributing to analytics best practices.
- Maintaining documentation of methodologies.
- Staying current on analytics and AI trends
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field required, with 5–8 years of analytics experience, within financial services.
- Strong expertise in predictive analytics, financial modeling, and analytical methods, with an understanding of credit union operations and data-driven modeling approaches.
- Solid knowledge of data management principles, data quality concepts, data governance, AI concepts within analytics, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R), along with experience in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights clearly and develop defensible, data-driven recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly; complex problem-solving abilities with ability to develop defensible data driven recommendations; high attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Preference will be given to those who have:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience with predictive modeling or advanced analytics in a regulated or data sensitive environment.
- Experience with AI/ML, CRM and behavioral data.
