Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Financial Advisor role is based in Los Angeles, CA. The Junior Financial Advisor/Advisor Assistant I will support senior advisors by assisting with client meetings, preparing financial plans, and analyzing client data related to retirement, investments, insurance, and overall financial strategies. Daily responsibilities include gathering and organizing client information, running financial projections, preparing reports and presentations, and helping maintain client relationships through follow-up communication and service support. The role also involves learning firm-approved planning tools, staying informed about financial products and market trends, and working within regulatory and compliance guidelines. The Junior Financial Advisor / Advisor Assistant I will collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, personalized financial solutions and contribute to business development activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to interpret financial data and market information.
- Skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help design and support client strategies for long-term goals.
- Interest and aptitude in Financial Advisory work, including client service, needs assessment, and solution recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and comfort presenting information to clients and team members.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and willingness to learn in a regulated financial services environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial planning software, and CRM tools; relevant licenses (e.g., securities, insurance) or willingness to obtain them.
