Collective Premium Cannabis is a growing company in the growing industry of cannabis! Collective is in its 4th year of operation and currently operates 3 retail dispensaries in Billerica, Littleton, and at Campfire Cannabis in West Boylston. Collective is seeking a candidate who wants to thrive as a Shift Supervisor within the Billerica location!

We are conveniently located right off route 3 in Billerica, close to a number of stores, food options, and a busy gas station with a convenience store and Dunks! We offer our employees 30% off ALL of our products. We also offer our employees LOTS of training and support.

We are a local, family-owned business who is looking to finalize its Shift Supervisor team within the Billerica location. We are looking forward to meeting with you!

Employment Position : Dispensary Retail Shift Supervisor - Adult-Use Cannabis Dispensary
Qualifications

Cannabis Retail Shift Supervisor: Minimum 1 year prior experience (Required)
Retail Supervisor Experience: Minimum 5 years prior experience (Required)
US work authorization (Required)
Background screening in compliance with the Cannabis Control Commission (Required)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Marijuana Establishment Agent Registration Card.

Full Job Description:

Dispensary Retail Shift Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Customer Experience

Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.
Greets customers and offers assistance with products and services.
Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and service traits.
Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.

Operations

Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members
Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
Supervises the return process of merchandise.
Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.
Supervises operations of assigned location including strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software (e.g. registers, Dutchie, etc.). Ensures response to all systems problems by contacting information technology support and seeking solutions.
Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned, including assisting team members as needed.
Willing to travel to other locations for training and/or coverage

Daily Planning and Execution

Assists with assigning daily operational responsibilities and tasks and sets expectations for all store team members.

Business Performance Management

Receives exposure to analytical data to better understand store performance trends and changes.
Reviews and ensures effective asset protection to reduce loss, focusing specifically on front of house operations.

People and Performance Management

Manages team member performance by assigning responsibilities, setting goals and expectations, observing performance, providing feedback and giving recognition. Provides feedback to help with employee career progression.
Ensures training of team members; provides coaching and mentoring.
Issues constructive discipline and makes discipline recommendations.
Promotes teamwork and motivates team members by establishing expectations, tracking results, showing enthusiasm and sharing the vision.
Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, applicable employment laws, and is consistently fair in the treatment of all team members.
Develops and delivers performance management for direct supervises.

Training and Personal Development

Participates in the company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity and attends training
Follows performance improvement plans offered by dispensary manager and director of dispensary operations
Seeks self-development by monitoring own performance, setting high personal standards, learning about the fields of retail and management, seeking best practices.

Communications

Communicates regularly with team members through one-on-one discussions, group meetings, soliciting input, answering questions, and ensuring communication are open between management and non-management team members.
Assists all other management in planning and attending community events.
