Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant, CPA to join our growing team in Westwood. This is a full-time, in-office position working directly with clients and supported by a highly experienced administrative team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of public accounting experience and extensive expertise preparing both individual and business tax returns.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Non-profit entities, trust, and estate tax returns.

· Meet directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide tax guidance.

· Complete tax returns accurately and efficiently during scheduled client appointments whenever possible.

· Manage a high-volume tax practice serving both individuals and businesses.

· Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on strategies to minimize tax liability.

· Research and resolve federal and state tax issues.

· Collaborate with administrative and support staff to ensure an exceptional client experience.

· Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and professionalism.

· Collaborate with colleagues across tax, accounting, and financial planning services to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.

Qualifications

· Active CPA license required.

· 10+ years of public accounting and tax preparation experience preferred.

· Extensive experience preparing individual and business tax returns.

· Experience preparing a high volume of individual and business tax returns in a public accounting environment.

· Strong knowledge of federal and Massachusetts tax regulations.

· Experience advising both individual and business clients.

· Comfortable meeting directly with clients throughout the day.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized with the ability to manage a significant volume of tax engagements.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
