Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Engineer is a customer-facing technical sales professional responsible for supporting customer inquiries, preparing quotations, managing orders, and identifying opportunities for growth. By combining technical knowledge with exceptional customer service, this role helps strengthen customer relationships and drive Alpine's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Respond professionally to inbound calls and emails from customers, providing quotes, product availability and interchanges, pricing and order status.

· Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate bearing and bearing related products and services.

· Ensure accurate and efficient order processing in the ERP.

· Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Purchasing, and Operations to meet customer requirements.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, MROs, integrators and distributors.

· Follow up on quotes and leads to convert opportunities to sales.

· Provide product information and technical support, utilizing vendor resources when necessary.

· Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.

· Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs.

· Handle customer issues and complaints professionally and promptly.

· Periodically prepare customer and KPI reporting

· Participate in annual budget, target, forecast processes

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in the bearings, industrial, or mechanical products sector.

Knowledge of bearings, seals, linear motion, or related mechanical components is required
2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in the bearings, industrial, or mechanical products sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems (e.g. SX, Hubspot).
Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
