Job Title: Residential Program Manager
Location: Wilmington & Arlington, MA
Salary: $65,000 per year
Schedule: Full-time

About Walnut Street Center:

Walnut Street Center (WSC) is a not-for-profit human service agency dedicated to empowering adults with Intellectual Disabilities (IDD) to lead engaged and meaningful lives. WSC achieves this by offering quality, outcome-based services that meet evolving stakeholder needs and foster collaboration among caring, engaged family members, friends, community partners, and dedicated staff.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and committed Residential Program Manager to oversee our residential homes supporting adults with IDD. This role is essential for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages independence and community involvement.

What You Will Do:

Staff Management: Oversee all aspects of staffing, including scheduling, on-call support, training, and supervision to ensure effective team performance.
Case Management: Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs), coordinate medical appointments, and oversee program and clinical reviews to meet individual needs.
Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative duties such as payroll processing, updating manuals, and overseeing house accounts and representative payee accounts.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Teach and supervise the implementation of essential skills, including social skills, personal routines, and financial management.
Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between the agency and the families, friends, and guardians of the individuals served.
Behavioral Interventions: Implement and monitor behavioral strategies to support individuals’ growth and development.
Emergency Procedures: Develop and enforce emergency response protocols to ensure the safety of individuals in both home and community settings.
Medication Management: Supervise the timely and accurate administration of medications, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Safety & Reporting: Maintain a safe working environment and report any work-related injuries or incidents to Human Resources promptly.
Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing a group home or working directly with individuals with IDD.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in human services or related fields is a plus.
Certifications: Valid Driver's License and MAP certification required. Must pass OIG, CORI, and SORI background checks.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Health Requirements: Covid-19 Vaccination Card is mandatory.
