As a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, you’ll build a career helping individuals and families make smart financial decisions - while building a business of your own with the support, training, and stability of a nationally respected, Fortune 500, firm.

This career is ideal for professionals coming from sales, recruiting, education, business, or other people-focused careers who are looking for greater earning potential, flexibility, community impact, and long-term growth.

Important Note: We are not accepting applicants who are currently enrolled in any college degree/educational programs at this time. (this includes online) Due to the nature of this career, being that it's highly entrepreneurial, there would be conflicting priorities that would prevent full commitment.

What You’ll Do as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual

You’ll work one-on-one with clients to help them:

Understand where they are financially today
Set goals for the future (retirement, college, home ownership, etc.)
Build a plan using insurance, investments, and financial strategies
Adjust that plan as their life and goals change

You’ll also build your own client base and develop long-term relationships — this is not a call-center opportunity and not a pre-assigned book of transactional business.
