Northwest Consulting & Construction LLC is hiring dependable, hardworking people to join our foundation
and structural repair team. This is not ordinary general labor. Our crews perform specialized work involving
foundation stabilization, helical piers, structural repair, concrete, excavation, waterproofing, crawlspace
repairs, welding, framing, and other engineered repair systems.
We are looking for people who want to learn a valuable trade, work hard, travel when required, and advance
into higher-paying positions such as lead technician, equipment operator, welder, or crew foreman.
PAY
Starting pay is based on experience, reliability, references, construction background, and applicable skills.
Entry-Level Technician: $25.00–$28.00 per hour
Experienced Construction or Foundation Repair Technician: $29.00–$36.00 per hour
Experienced Helical Pier Installer, Welder, or Equipment Operator: $34.00–$42.00 per hour
Working Foreman or Crew Leader: Up to $48.00 per hour based on qualifications and performance
Performance bonuses
Travel compensation or per diem when applicable

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Installing helical piers and foundation-support systems
Performing structural and foundation repairs
Excavation and site preparation
Concrete placement, forming, finishing, and repair
Crawlspace and basement work
Installing waterproofing and drainage systems
Structural framing and reinforcement
Welding and steel fabrication
Operating construction equipment and specialty installation equipment
Loading, unloading, organizing, and maintaining tools and materials
Recording measurements, installation depths, torque readings, elevations, and materials used
Following engineered repair plans and installation instructions as directed by the crew leader or
supervisor
Reporting jobsite information to supervisors and designated company personnel
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Traveling to jobsites throughout Montana and surrounding areas
Working cooperatively with crew members, supervisors, and project managers
CHAIN OF COMMAND
This position is not responsible for communicating directly with engineers or managing customer
relationships.
Our technicians are expected to follow the direction of supervisors, work within the company chain of
command, and remain focused on safe, accurate installation work.
EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
Previous foundation repair experience is helpful, but it is not required for the right person.
We understand that many good applicants may not already have specialized foundation repair or technical
installation experience. We provide hands-on training for employees who are dependable, mechanically
capable, willing to learn, and serious about building a career.

REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Willing and able to travel, including occasional overnight travel
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to lift construction materials and perform physically demanding work
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, excavations, and confined areas
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and the company chain of command
Ability to work well with crew members and supervisors
Willingness to learn specialized foundation and structural repair systems
Professional conduct on all jobsites
Reliable employment or professional references
Acceptable driving history when required
Drug-free and able to comply with company and project drug-testing requirements
Ability to pass applicable background, driving-record, or pre-employment screening requirements when
required

Applicants must provide work references who can speak to their reliability, attendance, work ethic, safety,
construction ability, attitude, ability to follow instructions, and ability to work as part of a crew.
References from previous supervisors, contractors, foremen, business owners, or long-term customers are
preferred.

WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Our primary location is Billings, Montana.
Employees must be willing to travel to projects throughout Montana and surrounding areas. Some projects
may require overnight stays. Travel expectations and compensation will be discussed before assignment.
Full-time position. Schedules vary depending on project location, weather, travel, and job requirements.
Overtime and overnight travel may occasionally be required.
