Experienced Account Sales Representative

Company Information:

Industrial Sales & Service is an established, locally owned and operated distributor of industrial, safety, maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies and services. Our business is focused on providing these products and services to the following industries throughout Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming: agriculture, automotive, construction, commercial, industrial, government, manufacturing, mining, pipeline, power generation, oil field and refining. Our employees work closely with our customers to better understand their challenges and/or needs to provide them with the correct products and/or solutions to get their job done.

Job Description: Full-Time Account Sales Representative

As an account sales representative, you will provide customers with expert assistance via phone, email and in person by selling a diverse line of products and services to satisfy their needs.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing new clients as well as selling, maintaining and delivering products to existing clients within a predetermined territory to grow business through sales and product demonstrations of industrial, safety, maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies.

Address and follow-up on customer inquiries, concerns and requests in a timely, professional manner to retain and promote customer loyalty.
Must have the ability to make key decisions to influence sales while growing revenue and profits.
Understand customer needs, probe to recognize opportunities, solve problems and recommend solutions.
Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
Participate and complete all required training to ensure superior product knowledge.

Position Requirements:

Two or more years of prior customer service or sales experience
Exhibit a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be self-confident, possess a high energy level and resilient character
Must be computer literate and able to learn required software programs
Strong computer skills.
Possess strong time management and organizational skills and be self-disciplined with the ability to multi-task
Ability to learn and retain processes, procedures and product information quickly while meeting customers’ expectations or business deadlines
Professional in appearance, attitude and action
Able to operate a forklift as needed
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
