Full Job Description

Factory by Beer Tree Brew is a restaurant/brewery located in Johnson City NY. We are looking for a Front of House Assistant Manager who matches the drive and excellence that is Beer Tree Brew.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from Beer Tree’s General Manager. Their duties include supervising employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations and managing the overall workflow.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily operations
Developing and implementing growth strategies
Leading Shifts
Improving revenue
Evaluating performance and productivity
Welcome and interact with customers
Employee management
Uphold and maintain Beer Tree Brew's brand guidelines
Address employee and customer concerns
Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement
Liaise between managers, customers and employees
Provide direction to staff
Monitor spending patterns and budget
Fill in for general manager (GM) in times of absence
Hold meetings and provide accountability
Follows the current ordering schedule and places orders as needed

Requirements:

· 5 plus years of management experience

· Strong knowledge of different business functions

· Strong knowledge of all front of house positions

· Able to foster a positive team environment

· Extremely good interpersonal skills

· Strong work ethic

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Computer literate

· Excellent Verbal Communication, and the ability to convey important information clearly and effectively

· Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and assist other’s as necessary

· Strong leadership and Initiative

· Excellent delegator and mediator

· People person, able to provide excellent customer service

· Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities

· Excellent time management

· Responsible, goal oriented and organized

· Confident, proactive and willing to take on workplace challenges

· Strong attention to detail and able to multitask

· Great listening skills and able to take direction from individuals in higher-level positions
