Soul Serenity Therapy is an established, friendly, and collaborative group practice, looking for talented and responsible fee-for-service therapists to join our team. (We are seeking clinicians who desire a more full-time caseload at this time). If you are eager to work independently, have the freedom to choose your own schedule and clients, and are excited to experience private practice life, this opportunity might be a perfect fit for you! Founded by Kristen Whelan, LCSW we are a thriving practice with a warm, supportive and collaborative feel. While we offer the flexibility to work independently and on your own terms, you’ll never feel isolated—we prioritize personal and professional growth among our team members and quality services for our clients. We primarily work with college students, adults, and couples (18+) and are seeking therapists for both individual and couples therapy.

Who We Are Looking For:

Motivated & Independent: You’re a self-starter who takes initiative but also values having a support system in place. You’re passionate about helping clients and ready to take on the responsibilities of running your own caseload (including but not limited to consultation calls with potential new clients and timely progress notes, assessments, safety plans, and other case record requirements within our EHR system).
Client-Centered: You have a genuine desire to work with your preferred population and are skilled in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy through a trauma informed yet solution focused lens.
Committed to Growth: You’re eager to expand your clinical skills. We welcome new therapeutic modalities & specialties not limited to but including DBT, EMDR, Gottman Method/ Couples Therapy, Somatic therapy.

Requirements: Fully NY Licensed LCSW's, LMHF's, or LMHC's, who have an active NPI and will obtain malpractice insurance. Must have two (2) years of experience in mental health to be considered for the position. Must be willing to commit to (1) year of clinical work. Must be willing to take on at least 10 weekly clients. We are currently hiring for clinicians seeking a more full-time caseload size. (15+ clients per week is ideal)

Schedule: You can work remotely as it fits your schedule. Any days and times of your choosing. We will bring you clients and you will do what your are best at! Our team handles the billing, insurance processing, and client questions and issues. We do have an office located in Locust Valley, NY that is there should you wish to utilize an office space thought not required. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get started in the world of private practice, add an insurance caseload to their current private practice, or make a switch to something more flexible!

Pay: Clinicians are paid $55-$60 per session depending on caseload size. Pay scale will grow with your caseload size. You will be advised and taught to conduct consultations and negotiate with clients. Our practice is set up with administrative support so that you can prioritize your direct work with clients first and foremost. Additionally, there may be opportunities on occasion for working with private pay clients from time to time. When these opportunities arise the compensation ranges between $75-$125.

training in TF-CBT, DBT, GOTTMAN , EMDR, SOMATIC THERAPY preferred. All modalities are valued and welcomed!
