Full Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise AI initiatives that support manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution operations. This individual will manage cross-functional technology programs from concept through implementation while partnering with business leaders and technical teams to deliver scalable, data-driven AI solutions.

The organization has already established the foundation for its AI strategy and is looking for someone who can help scale and operationalize AI across the business. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully led multiple AI initiatives and can bring practical experience, new ideas, and a hands-on approach to execution.

The AI Technical Program Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, design, development, implementation, deployment, and post-launch support. This position serves as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals.

Location: Remote (Local strongly preferred)

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise AI and technology initiatives from planning through implementation.
Partner with business and technical teams to define project scope, priorities, timelines, and success metrics.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for stakeholders and leadership.
Coordinate software development, systems integration, infrastructure, and IT operations teams throughout project execution.
Manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and communications.
Drive delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Utilize Jira and Azure DevOps to manage project execution.
Support AI initiatives that integrate with ERP, WMS, TMS, and other enterprise business systems.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and help expand the organization's AI capabilities.

Qualifications

4-7 years of Technical Project or Program Management experience.
At least 2 years managing multiple AI initiatives with experience across a variety of AI technologies and use cases.
Experience delivering projects involving software development, systems integration, infrastructure, and IT operations.
Background supporting manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or warehouse environments.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Strong working knowledge of Jira and Azure DevOps.
Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
