Full Job Description

The University of Alabama System (UA System) is seeking applications for the position of Legal Administrative Coordinator. This on-site role is based in Birmingham, Alabama, on the campus of The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Reporting to the Office Manager, the Legal Administrative Coordinator will provide a broad range of administrative support to multiple attorneys in the UAB Office of Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Provide confidential administrative support to multiple attorneys.
Review and revise various documents, including affiliation agreements, employment agreements, and confidential disclosure agreements.
Draft, manage, and maintain a large volume of corporate documents, including resolutions and bylaws.
Process various filings with the Alabama Secretary of State.
Maintain various departmental databases.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
Experience reviewing and revising various types of agreements.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Experience managing and maintaining corporate entity data and documents.
