Training hours can vary between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Scope of Work:
- Deliver CompTIA Certification Preparation training to MRWTC trainees
- Consistently identify the technical strengths/weaknesses of trainees in the program.
- Maintain record-keeping on trainee trends, such as attendance, punctuality, work ethic, and attitude.
- Provide weekly or daily reports to the MRWTC center manager as needed on the training progress of each trainee.
- Prepare MRWTC trainees for CompTIA certification exams.
- Provide hands-on, practical application training.
- Meet with the MRWTC center manager and company contacts as needed.
- Keep the classroom neat and organized at all times.
- Notify the MRWTC center manager of classroom supplies/equipment needs for trainees’ training purposes, as needed.
- Always keep safety as the top priority in the classroom.

- Comply with all policies and procedures regarding punctuality, attendance, and workplace ethics.
- Communicates professionally with staff, company representatives, government officials, and the general public.
- Contributes to and extracts from the information flow of the Institute using automated tools.
- Plans daily/weekly work schedule without direct supervision.
- Coordinates and accounts for AIDT resources.

- Knowledge of technical trends pertaining to new technologies.
- Ability to effectively present technical information to groups in a classroom or lab environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on program needs.
- Ability to comply with AIDT policy regarding attendance. (Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.)
Minimum Qualifications:
All candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate and CompTIA certification. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Information Technology. A minimum of two years of training from a two-year technical college in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of training in Information Technology; A four-year degree is preferred.
Criminal Background Check:
The applicant chosen for employment will be required to sign a Criminal Background Check consent form and to submit a nonrefundable $26.98 payment for the cost of the criminal background check. (Note: The $26.98 fee is based on possession of an Alabama Driver’s License. The fee for the background check may be more or less if the driver’s license is not an Alabama license.) Permanent employment will be contingent upon the results of the criminal background check.
Salary and General:
Initial salary will be based on experience and education.
