Full Job Description

Who you are:

The Pit Master works closely with Kitchen Managers, Regional Managers, and the AM prep team to maintain the highest quality of standards in the production of Michigan’s Best BBQ. The candidate must have a passion and understanding of cooking. As Pit Master, you must be dependable, self-reliant, and passionate about high-level meat production.

What you’ll do:

· Ensure BBQ and all meat items meet the restaurant's specifications and commitment to BBQ excellence

· Stocks all stations daily with required meat items

· Demonstrate an eagerness to refine techniques and a desire to learn and build on leadership skills

· Maintain accurate inventories, orders and receivables

· Consistently ensure the pit area remains clean and organized

· Opening the building

· 2+ years of relevant experience in a culinary leadership role
