Full Job Description

Lake Homes Realty (www.LakeHomes.com) has an immediate opening for an experienced, full-time Social Media and Content Specialist.

This is an in-office position, not eligible for remote work.

What you'll be doing:

The primary focus is creating a variety of social media posts for real estate agents with a focus on local activities and events (things AI is not good at doing).
Bring your creativity for developing methods and approaches to keep content fresh and interesting.
Work with the marketing team to develop additional messages and strategies
Set and maintain a schedule for both in-house and agent-related tasks.
In addition, your work will also include researching and writing informative and interesting descriptions of various real estate markets for each of our various websites. Use of AI tools is valuable to this process but still requires verification, editing, and additional work.
Researching and writing occasional blog articles for our various websites, typically related to lifestyle, tips for homeowners, and other related topics for homeowners, buyers, and sellers.
Writing in a manner that is consistent and follows company style guides.
Occasionally, if needed, support various other company services.

What you'll need:

A customer-focused, customer-caring mindset while following structured, specialized processes on a hands-on basis
An analytical and positive mindset with excellent written communication skills.
A natural focus on detailed accuracy and the ability to cross-check work.
Well organized thought process, as we run multiple projects and campaigns at the same time.
Skilled accuracy of research and produced content
To be comfortable working within a team of marketing professionals.
Great at following detailed documented processes
Able to be methodical, efficient, and productive over the course of a full work day.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred but not required.
Ability to work in-office (this is NOT a remote position).
Dedicated and driven to finish projects on-time and on-budget with high quality

This position is considered as generally entry-level, and compensation will be based on any prior experience in this type of position (or similar, including classes).

If you are a soon-to-graduate student, you are encouraged to apply and will be considered for a part-time role while completing your degree, and then eligible for consideration for a full-time role.
