Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, bankruptcy, and more. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality legal counsel, conducting comprehensive research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in various proceedings. This position is ideal for a motivated professional eager to develop their expertise across multiple disciplines and grow with the firm.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and client advisories.
Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and clarity.
Prepare for and participate in court depositions, trial preparations, and hearings to advocate effectively for clients.
Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Provide clear and professional communication with clients regarding case progress, legal options, and procedural requirements.
Assist in negotiating settlements and resolving disputes across various practice areas such as personal injury, employment law, landlord-tenant issues, and more.
Support attorneys in statutory legal research and procedural law compliance to ensure adherence to court rules and regulations.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
Proven experience or internship in general litigation or specific practice areas such as estate planning, family law, or employment law.
Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
Excellent legal writing and drafting abilities with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prepare for court depositions, trial proceedings, and motion filings.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
Knowledge of procedural law, statutory regulations, and case management practices.
Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
