Full Job Description

North Dakota Health and Human Services is seeking a SharePoint Administrator in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Join our team and help us advance our organizational efficiency and data-driven decision-making as a SharePoint Administrator. In this role, you will leverage your advanced expertise in Microsoft SharePoint and related productivity tools (such as Excel and Power BI) to ensure seamless integration between SharePoint and other enterprise systems, enabling effective data management, workflows, reporting, and governance across our agency.

As the SharePoint Administrator, you will create and manage data solutions in Microsoft SharePoint including custom lists, libraries, and site structures. You will ensure SharePoint works smoothly with other agency systems for accurate data management, reporting, and governance. This position will collaborate with other team members both within HHS as well as NDIT, as well as conduct training and provide assistance for SharePoint partners and users.

To thrive in this position, you are an expert in SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 products. You have hands-on experience in building workflows and forms using Excel and Power BI. You have the ability to flex your communication style depending on your audience which includes nontechnical professionals, technical partners, and other state agencies. Most importantly, you should have genuine passion for technology, a commitment to continuous learning, and a collaborative team-focused mindset.

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst type role using Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Power BI (data modeling, advanced DAX, custom visuals) and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, data connectors) or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.

This position works from the State Capital building in Bismarck, North Dakota.
