Sales Representative — Fibre by Auskin

Location: Golden, Colorado Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Vice President Compensation: Base salary + commission structure

Fibre by Auskin is a premium sheepskin and natural fibre goods company supplying high-quality sheepskin, alpaca and related home furnishings products to interior designers, boutique retailers, furniture showrooms, and specialty stores across North and South America. Our products are trusted by design professionals and retailers who value craftsmanship, natural materials, and dependable wholesale partnerships.

Job Summary

We are looking for a self motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to grow and manage our wholesale customer accounts. This role is responsible for prospecting new business, nurturing existing trade and retail relationships, and driving revenue growth across our sheepskin and leather product lines. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who thrives on building long-term partnerships with interior designers, furniture retailers, and specialty boutiques.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale accounts, including interior design firms, furniture retailers, and specialty home goods stores.
High School diploma required.
Proactively reach out to existing customers to review account performance, introduce new products, and identify opportunities to increase order volume.
Identify, prospect, and onboard new wholesale accounts to expand market reach.
Conduct regular check-in calls and, where appropriate, in-person or virtual product presentations with clients.
Track customer interactions, sales activity, and account notes in the company CRM.
Monitor account sales trends and flag at-risk or declining accounts for proactive outreach and retention efforts.
Collaborate with the marketing team on trade show participation, sample distribution, and promotional campaigns.
Provide customers with accurate product information, pricing, lead times, and order status updates.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Gather customer and market feedback to inform product development and merchandising decisions.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wholesale, home furnishings, interior design trade, or a related consumer goods industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong phone and relationship-building ability.
Comfortable making outbound prospecting and account management calls.
Strong organizational skills and comfort working with CRM and sales tracking tools.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage a book of business independently.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Outlook/Gmail).

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships within the interior design, furniture, or home goods trade.
Familiarity with sheepskin, alpaca, fur, or natural fiber product categories.
Experience with wholesale B2B sales cycles and trade show sales.
Bilingual or multilingual candidates a plus, given international customer accounts.
