Operations Manager

Full-Time | Salary Exempt | Hybrid Leadership Role

Lead People. Drive Accountability. Build Strong Teams.

Spectrum Residential Habilitation is seeking an experienced Residential Operations Manager to provide leadership, operational oversight, and support across our residential services program.

This is not a traditional desk job. While administrative responsibilities are part of the position, much of the work occurs in the field supporting House Managers, developing staff, strengthening operations, and reinforcing expectations where services are delivered.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Staff Development

Coach, mentor, and support House Managers and Direct Support Professionals
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff training
Develop future leaders and reinforce a positive, accountable culture

Operations Management

Oversee daily operations across assigned residential homes
Ensure company expectations, policies, and procedures are consistently followed
Support scheduling, staffing, and operational problem-solving
Respond to urgent operational needs and provide leadership support as needed

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Conduct documentation and operational audits
Monitor compliance with company policies and state regulations
Support corrective action plans and quality improvement efforts
Maintain readiness for regulatory reviews and surveys

Field Leadership

Conduct regular visits to residential homes
Provide hands-on coaching and support to staff and leadership teams
Observe operations and reinforce expectations
Maintain a visible leadership presence within the program

Staffing Stability

Support House Managers with staffing challenges and coverage needs
Monitor attendance, turnover, and staffing trends
Help identify staffing concerns before they become crises
Support sustainable staffing solutions that promote long-term success

What We're Looking For

Proven leadership or management experience
Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and hold others accountable
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology-based systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Residential Habilitation, HCBS, healthcare, or human services
Knowledge of Idaho regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with staff development, training, and performance management
