Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help keep our kitchen running smoothly, supporting our culinary staff in creating delicious, high-quality meals for our guests. Duties

Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols.
Support the culinary team by organizing supplies, ingredients, and cleaning stations to promote an efficient workflow.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances.
Follow strict food safety procedures related to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation to prevent contamination.
Help with meal prep activities by assembling ingredients and preparing simple menu items under supervision.
Maintain a clean work environment by regularly sanitizing surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food industry standards related to food safety management and safe food handling practices.
Basic knowledge of menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistent meal quality.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and support team members.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following safety standards in production.
Experience with cleaning routines specific to restaurant or food service environments.
Culinary experience or knife skills such as slicing techniques are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
