Hourly Wage Estimate: $32.95 - $49.42 / hour

Do you have the career opportunities as a(an) CT Technologist you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join LewisGale Medical Center which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualification

Prepares and identifies patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures.
Performs all CT procedures.
Observant of patients’ conditions.
Practices radiation safety as described in federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy.
Understands and operates electronic information systems.
Compiles appropriate records to expedite results.
Administers contrast media as required. If a RN is not available, certified technologists may have access to the emergency medications at the direction of the attending physician”
Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of CT and to meet the continuing education requirements of the ARRT. Maintains current CPR-BLS certification

What qualifications you will need:

EXPERIENCE

Required: 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist
Preferred: One year dedicated CT experience.

EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS
Required: ARRT registered, ARRT certified in CT obtained within 6 months of hire.

Hours: Weekends only at Cave Spring free standing emergency department Friday, Saturday and Sundays 7am-7pm.
