What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Manage Field Operations: Oversee daily chemical applications (fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides) across all client properties.
- Sales: Present proposals clearly and confidently, highlighting value and addressing client questions. Finalize sales agreements and ensure clients fully understand scope, pricing, and expectations.
- Lead and Train: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of turf care technicians to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ensure Compliance: Enforce local, state, and federal laws regarding mixing, applying, storing, and disposing of chemicals.
- Optimize Routing: Schedule and coordinate daily routes for the application team to maximize efficiency and response times.
- Maintain Records: Keep meticulous logs of chemical inventory, usage data, and property application records for regulatory agencies. Maintain accurate documentation and updates in LMN.
- Oversee Equipment: Calibrate, inspect, and maintain spray rigs, spreaders, and other specialized application machinery.
- Resolve Client Issues: Address customer questions regarding lawn health, treatment outcomes, and specialized care plans.
- Time Sheet Management: Daily review and approval of time sheet accuracy that ensures accurate services delivered to protect the company’s profitability and client trust.
- Continuing Education: Stay current on industry trends, service offerings, and best practices to better serve clients
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with internal teams proactively to positively influence client experiences
- Work with teams and administrative staff to resolve discrepancies before mobilization
- Represent Back to Nature professionally in all client interactions
What You Bring

- Proven sales track record, ideally in landscaping, outdoor services, or related industries
- Experience with landscape estimating is helpful; familiarity with LMN is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with strong follow-through
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client opportunities simultaneously while achieving positive outcomes
- Comfort working independently in the field and in the office
- Familiarity with basic software tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, CRM systems)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, service-oriented environments
