Full Job Description

Position Summary

Comfort Inn is seeking a professional, dependable, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent / Breakfast Attendant. This hybrid position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth front-desk operations, and maintaining a high-quality breakfast experience for our guests. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while upholding hotel standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Front Desk Responsibilities

Provide courteous and efficient guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guest stay.
Manage reservations, modifications, cancellations, and room assignments accurately.
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a well-organized, clean, and presentable front desk and lobby area.
Ensure adherence to all hotel policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas meet established quality standards.
Handle cash, authorization holds, and POS transactions accurately according to hotel guidelines.

Breakfast Responsibilities

Set up, prepare, and maintain the breakfast area in accordance with brand and food-safety standards.
Monitor food quality, temperature, cleanliness, and replenishment throughout service hours.
Greet guests courteously, assist as needed, and maintain a welcoming dining environment.
Follow all sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures.
Break down, clean, and restock the breakfast area and equipment at the conclusion of service.

Qualifications

Previous front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel systems is a plus.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks related to breakfast setup and cleanup.
