Job Title: Healthcare Sales Executive | New Business Development
Company: Twin Cities Physicians
Location: Greater Twin Cities Metro Area + Statewide Minnesota Travel
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 Base Salary + UNCAPPED Commission | Realistic OTE: $160,000 - $250,000+
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday
To Stand Out
Email Tom Lecy at [email protected] with your resume and tell us:
- Your biggest new business win.
- A time you turned a "no" into a signed account.
- How you've built a territory or pipeline from scratch.
- Your quota attainment, revenue performance, or other measurable sales results.
If You Need Warm Leads to Win, This Probably Isn't Your Role
We're looking for a hunter.
Someone who sees an untouched territory and immediately starts thinking about who they need to meet.
Someone who doesn't get discouraged when the first call isn't returned, the first email goes unanswered, or the first meeting doesn't result in a contract.
At Twin Cities Physicians, you'll be responsible for winning new senior living partnerships and expanding our physician services throughout Minnesota.
That means:
- Opening doors.
- Getting meetings.
- Building relationships with decision-makers.
- Staying persistent when competitors stop following up.
- Turning conversations into signed partnerships.
If you've built your career by finding opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to you, we want to talk.
The Opportunity
Twin Cities Physicians provides physician-led primary care to thousands of seniors living in communities throughout Minnesota.
Our next stage of growth requires a sales professional who can identify opportunities, earn credibility with senior healthcare executives, and win accounts.
You'll be sitting across the table from Executive Directors, CEOs, Owners, Regional Leaders, Directors of Nursing, and other senior decision-makers.
These aren't transactional sales.
You'll need to understand an organization's challenges, identify where our clinical model creates value, navigate multiple stakeholders, overcome objections, and stay engaged throughout what can be a complex sales cycle.
Your job is to get Twin Cities Physicians into conversations we aren't currently having and win partnerships we don't currently have.
Why Top Salespeople Should Pay Attention
- $100,000 - $130,000 guaranteed base salary.
- UNCAPPED commission with no earning ceiling.
- Realistic OTE of $160,000 - $250,000+.
- Large Minnesota territory with significant opportunity for new account development.
- Direct access to executive and clinical leadership.
- Opportunity to build your own pipeline instead of inheriting someone else's book of business.
- Sell a physician-led healthcare service with meaningful clinical and operational value.
- Become a key driver of the organization's continued expansion throughout Minnesota.
Your Mission: Win New Accounts
Success in this role is measured by growth.
You'll identify senior living organizations that aren't currently working with Twin Cities Physicians, determine who controls the decision, create an opportunity to meet with them, and move that relationship toward a signed partnership.
Some accounts will move quickly.
Others won't.
You may hear, "We're happy with our current provider."
You may have a prospect disappear after a great first meeting.
You may need five, ten, or fifteen touches before the right person agrees to sit down.
That's sales.
We're looking for someone who understands that persistence isn't sending the same email three times.
It's finding another way in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospect consistently for new senior living partnerships throughout Minnesota.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
- Identify and engage CEOs, Owners, Executive Directors, Regional Leaders, Directors of Nursing, and other key decision-makers.
- Cold call, email, network, ask for referrals, attend industry events, and conduct in-person outreach to create new opportunities.
- Secure meetings with senior-level healthcare executives and lead strategic sales conversations.
- Ask strong discovery questions to uncover clinical, operational, and organizational pain points.
- Position Twin Cities Physicians as a solution to challenges involving resident care, provider access, hospitalizations, continuity of care, and clinical support.
- Develop relationships across multiple levels of an organization instead of relying on a single contact.
- Navigate objections, competitors, existing provider relationships, and complex decision-making processes.
- Consistently follow up with prospects until there is a clear next step.
- Negotiate and close new physician partnership agreements.
- Work alongside clinical and operational leadership to successfully transition newly signed accounts into implementation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, opportunities, next steps, and sales forecasts.
We're Looking for Someone Who Hates Losing More Than They Hate Hearing No
You don't need every prospect to say yes.
You do need the persistence to keep pursuing the right accounts.
The strongest candidate for this role is competitive, resourceful, disciplined, and comfortable creating opportunities from nothing.
You know how to walk into a market where nobody knows your name and start building relationships.
You're comfortable picking up the phone.
You're comfortable walking through the front door.
You're comfortable asking for the meeting.
And when you're finally sitting across from the CEO, owner, or executive team, you're equally comfortable leading the conversation.
What Success Looks Like
- You're consistently adding qualified opportunities to your pipeline.
- You're creating meetings instead of waiting for marketing-generated leads.
- Decision-makers throughout your territory know who you are.
- You understand which accounts are winnable and what it will take to win them.
- Your follow-up is persistent, strategic, and purposeful.
- You can clearly articulate where every major opportunity stands and what needs to happen next.
- You build relationships with multiple stakeholders within target organizations.
- You turn prospects into signed partnerships.
- You consistently achieve or exceed new business goals.
Ideal Backgrounds
We're particularly interested in proven hunters from:
- Home Health Sales.
- Hospice Business Development.
- Senior Living Sales.
- Physician Services.
- Medical Device Sales.
- Healthcare Technology.
- Post-Acute Care Sales.
- Healthcare Staffing.
- Healthcare Consulting.
- Enterprise B2B Sales.
- Other complex, relationship-driven sales environments.
Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, but we're ultimately looking for someone who can demonstrate that they know how to prospect, build relationships, navigate complex sales cycles, and close.
What We're Looking For
- Documented history of winning new business.
- Strong prospecting and territory development skills.
- Measurable success achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Confidence cold calling and initiating relationships without a warm introduction.
- Experience developing accounts through persistent, multi-touch follow-up.
- Ability to conduct high-level conversations with C-suite executives, ownership groups, and senior healthcare leaders.
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to navigate longer and more complex sales cycles.
- Comfort managing a large geographic territory throughout Minnesota.
- Self-motivated, competitive, accountable, and highly organized.
- A track record that demonstrates results, not just relationships.

We're expanding, and we're looking for a salesperson who wants to play a major role in where we go next.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your week maintaining relationships someone else built.
We're looking for someone who wants to open doors, win accounts, take market share, and build something.
If that's how you've built your sales career, we'd like to hear from you.
