Chaz Limited Collision Express, the leading, certified collision repair organization of Alaska, is seeking a Body Shop Manager to join our team in Alaska!

Chaz Limited Collision Express is a family-owned business that has proudly served Alaska since 1976. For nearly 50 years, we’ve built a reputation as Alaska’s Collision Care Family—delivering high-quality repairs, trusted service, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Today, we operate five locations across the state, including Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, and Fairbanks, continuing to grow while staying true to our values.

Key Responsibilities

The Auto Body Shop Manager leads all aspects of daily operations, overseeing staff, production flow, and customer experience from intake through delivery. This role is responsible for driving profitability through GP% oversight, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with DRP partners while upholding company and insurance standards.

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with insurance partners and DRP programs
Plan, prioritize, and manage production schedules to ensure timely, high-quality repairs
Oversee workflow across all departments to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle time
Monitor and drive financial performance, including sales growth and gross profit across labor, parts, and paint/materials
Track and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), including CSI, cycle time, severity, and profitability
Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, accountability, and engagement
Promote a positive shop culture built on communication, teamwork, and high standards
Resolve customer concerns effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and trust
Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to support long-term shop success
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operations and profitability

The Experience We’re Looking For

Proven experience managing or leading an auto body/collision repair shop
Strong understanding of production flow, scheduling, and repair planning
Demonstrated ability to manage profitability and operational performance (GP%)
Experience working with DRP relationships and insurance partners
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Proficiency with estimating systems and insurance guidelines preferred
Experience with Nexsyis Collision Management System is a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Relocation Opportunity in Alaska

This position is based in Alaska. Chaz Limited Collision Express operates 5 locations statewide and offers relocation support for qualified candidates.

Top candidates will be invited to participate in a paid working interview (trial period) in Alaska prior to final hire.
