Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead and oversee the operations of a senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for residents. This leadership role requires a passionate individual with a comprehensive understanding of long-term care, assisted living, and memory care services. The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health regulations, managing staff, fostering a positive environment for residents, and driving the overall success of the facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through innovative management and compassionate care.

Duties

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing home, assisted living, and memory care services.
Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual resident needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care programs.
Manage daily facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, financial management, and regulatory compliance in accordance with long-term care regulations.
Supervise and mentor care teams, including nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with healthcare standards.
Maintain strong relationships with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote resident well-being and satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to health regulation policies while continuously improving operational procedures to meet evolving industry standards.

Skills

Extensive nursing home experience with a deep understanding of senior care, including Alzheimer’s, memory care, dementia care, and home & community care services.
Proven management skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
Strong knowledge of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and financial acumen necessary for sustainable operations.
Familiarity with long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and disability services requirements.
Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing large teams effectively while promoting staff development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health needs is highly desirable.
Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
