Full Job Description

The Case Manager oversees daily operations of the facility and supports clients in maintaining recovery. Responsibilities include supervising house activities, monitoring compliance (passes and urine testing), coordinating services, and providing limited counseling and case management support.

Duties

Supervise daily activities within the sober living home.
Monitor client compliance including passes and urine testing.
Assist clients with accessing transportation and community resources (e.g., food stamps, general relief).
Support clients in obtaining and maintaining employment, including help with resumes and job applications.
Assist clients with budgeting, grocery shopping, and meal planning.
Ensure clients attend required treatment services.
Supervise house cleaning and ensure proper use of supplies and maintenance of the facility.
Document relevant events, client interactions, and counseling sessions.
Collect rent from clients.
Maintain communication with clinical staff and supervisors.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Follow agency policies and Board of Directors regulations.
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC I) minimum.

Knowledge & Skills

Substance abuse treatment and recovery principles.
Case management and behavioral health resources.
Residential facility operations, safety, and risk management.
Basic counseling and group support techniques.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Professional communication and documentation skills.

Abilities

Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships.
Work independently while managing multiple responsibilities.
Maintain accurate records and reports.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Insurable at standard automobile rates.
FBI and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
Negative tuberculosis test.
Pass drug screening.

License

Valid California Driver’s License required.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform routine office tasks, communicate effectively, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
