JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Job Type: Full-time, entry-level, salaried position.

To maximize teamwork, communication, collaboration and execution of our duties, we are generally a 9-to-5, M-F, in-office work environment, with flexible aspects for personal appointments, weather impact, etc.

WolfPoint Group, LLC, based in Edina, MN, offers sales representation, retail consulting and business development services for its clients - including manufacturers, service providers and multi-channel retailers. Its categories of expertise include consumer electronics, electric transportation, consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, and health & beauty products. Our primary work is supporting our clients with day-to-day management of their business at Best Buy and Target.

A viable candidate for our Sales & Marketing Coordinator position is process-oriented with an ability to multitask, well organized, with excellent time-management skills. They take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes in the most efficient way possible. They appreciate making a list at the beginning of each day and then crossing things off it. They enjoy solving problems and working in a team environment to achieve goals. They can learn and adapt as needed to support brands in a constantly evolving retail industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel in particular - is necessary. Prior experience working in retail or customer service role is a plus.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator works together with the Account Manager, Senior Vice President of Business Development, and Partners to execute all steps required to first secure online/shelf product placement and then drive sales of that product at retail. You will be doing and observing the art and science of managing the entire life cycle of a product or service sold at retail - from initial entry to transition to exit stage.

Job Responsibilities:

Client Support: Includes vendor on-boarding and individual product set-ups, content and pricing management, updating weekly sales reports, creating meeting recaps/action registers, completing competitive shops with basic quantitative and qualitative analysis, and managing vendor access to retailer portals.

Vendor Program Management: Includes basic order management, sales reporting with basic analysis, promotional calendar creation and follow up, monthly marketing program reconciliation, client/customer meeting support.

Other: Office administrative support and special projects as needed.

Applicant Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree - with priority given to Business, Supply Chain or Retail Management, or related field
Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Energized by working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, business environment.

This is an excellent job for someone new to the retail industry who wants to accelerate their ability to gain experience in a wide variety of business disciplines very quickly via hands-on experience - or - a retail operations veteran looking for less day-to-day bureaucracy and improved work/life balance.
