Experienced Breakfast & Lunch Cook $18–$25/hour | Daytime Restaurant

Our leadership team brings more than 30 years of combined restaurant experience. We know strong restaurants don't happen by accident. They're built by people who care about what they do and the people they work alongside.

$18–$25 PER HOUR

Pay is based on experience, demonstrated ability and overall fit.

We're willing to pay at the top of our range for someone who brings exceptional value to our kitchen.

Professional breakfast, lunch, diner, brunch, grill, short-order or high-volume line experience is strongly preferred.

Experience with eggs cooked to order, omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast meats, potatoes, flat-top cooking, fryer execution, multiple cook-line stations and high-volume ticket flow is especially valuable.

SIMPLE MENU. SIGNATURE EXECUTION.

Our menu may look straightforward, but how we execute it is what makes Scramblers different.

We have a signature taste and presentation that our guests should be able to recognize and expect every time they visit.

The details matter—from how an egg is cooked to how the finished plate looks when it leaves the kitchen.

We're not looking for someone who thinks breakfast is “just eggs and pancakes.”

We're looking for cooks who understand that simple food done exceptionally well takes skill, attention to detail and consistency.

You'll learn the Scramblers way of preparing and presenting our food. Your experience matters, but so does your ability to learn our standards and reproduce them consistently.

Every cook—regardless of experience—will be trained on Scramblers' recipes, methods and presentation standards before being expected to execute them independently.

Simple doesn't mean ordinary.

Our goal is to produce great food correctly, consistently and with urgency.

That means respecting recipes, portions, presentation and food-safety standards even when the ticket rail is full.

Speed of service is good. Doing it the right way, every time, is great.

Great cooks understand that running a strong kitchen involves more than preparing the orders in front of them.

We're looking for people who pay attention, think ahead and understand how their work affects the entire operation.

If you're someone who naturally notices what needs attention before you're asked, we want to learn more about you.

For strong performers who want more responsibility, there may be opportunities to develop toward Lead Cook and kitchen leadership roles.

SCHEDULE

We're specifically looking for cooks who can consistently work:

FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Approximately 5:30 AM–4:30 PM

Additional weekday hours may be available depending on experience, availability and business needs.

Reliable availability for these three days is extremely important.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This is an active kitchen position requiring extended periods of standing and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Professional breakfast or high-volume cooking experience is strongly preferred, but we're also interested in people who demonstrate exceptional ability, work ethic and potential.

PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES

Candidates who advance through our selection process will be asked to provide two professional references, preferably including a former restaurant manager, kitchen manager, chef, supervisor or owner.

We will not contact your current employer without your permission.

We'll invest training, time and support in the people we hire. In return, we expect our standards to be consistently demonstrated.

Our goal is to find people who can succeed here long term, but we recognize that not every position is the right fit for every person.
