Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) services for inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients. Working under the direction of the supervising radiologist, the CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols while ensuring patient safety, quality care, and efficient service delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT examinations on inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients.
Follow established imaging protocols and departmental procedures.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by the radiologist.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures.
Verify patient identity and explain procedures prior to examinations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Deliver safe, timely, efficient, and cost-effective CT imaging services.

Required Education

Certificate of Completion from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program OR
College diploma in a related field.

Required Certifications & Licensure

Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA))
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
One of the following:
Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) – ARRT OR
Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Commitment to patient safety and quality imaging standards.

This position is ideal for a licensed CT Technologist who is committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
