Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR professional to join a local corporate organization on a full-time basis.

This vital role involves supporting various human resources functions to ensure smooth operations, foster employee engagement, and uphold compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of human resources management practices.

You will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management alike, facilitating effective HR processes that contribute to a positive workplace environment and organizational success.

Duties

Assist with talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday, and coordinating interview schedules.
Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
Facilitate performance management processes by coordinating employee evaluations and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
Administer benefits programs and manage benefits documentation in compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
Assist with employee relations issues by providing guidance on conflict management and fostering positive communication across teams.
Support HR sourcing efforts and participate in strategic planning for workforce management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action initiatives.
Contribute to training & development programs by coordinating sessions and tracking participation.
Ensure compliance with employment & labor law requirements, including workers' compensation procedures and contract management.
Collect data for HR analytics purposes using tools like Salesforce or Paychex to inform decision-making processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within a corporate environment.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation policies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with benefits administration, employee evaluation processes, and training & development initiatives.
Proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and utilizing ATS systems like iCIMS or Taleo.
Ability to adapt to change management strategies while maintaining attention to detail.
Organizational skills necessary for managing contracts, payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex, and workforce management tools like Kronos or Dayforce.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university; a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum five years of administrative assistance experience, including at least two years of human resources experience; required exposure to payroll processing, with at least one year of payroll experience preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SHRM, HRCI and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification (in progress or obtained) is a plus
