Full Job Description

As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in attracting and securing tenants for our properties. Your exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of the rental market, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our leasing operations.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, or in-person
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on applicants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are properly executed
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and key exchanges
- Maintain knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor properties
- Utilize property management software (CMMS) to track leasing activities and maintain tenant records

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus
- Proven experience as a leasing agent or similar role in the real estate industry
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in file management, data entry, and maintaining accurate records
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to potential tenants
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes and legal administrative tasks
