About the Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to take the lead on all things numbers, compliance, and financial operations. This role is the heartbeat of our back office—making sure our books are tight, our reports are accurate, and our brewery and distillery stay on top of all regulatory responsibilities. If you love the craft industry and want to blend your accounting skills with a passion for quality and growth, this is the perfect role.

What You’ll Do

Financial Operations

Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
Manage monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Track cash flow and provide forecasting to support business planning
Build and improve internal controls, policies, and processes as we grow
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
Lead and mentor a small accounting team

Regulatory Compliance (Brewery & Distillery)

Own all federal TTB reporting, excise tax filings, and production reports
Handle all state and local alcohol reporting requirements, including inventory tracking and tax compliance
Maintain accurate records of production, transfers, and sales for both brewery and distillery operations
Serve as the point person for regulatory audits or inspections
Keep leadership informed of changing alcohol industry regulations and best practices

People & HR Support

Oversee biweekly payroll processing and employee recordkeeping
Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Support managers with onboarding new hires and offboarding departing employees
Assist leadership with benefit administration and policy updates
Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture and help champion team engagement

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities
Familiarity with alcohol industry compliance (brewery and/or distillery) preferred but not required
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and strong spreadsheet skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for the craft beverage industry and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
