Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Spa Associate to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while performing a variety of tanning and skincare treatments. Your enthusiasm for wellness, combined with your technical skills in tanning systems and sanitation, will help create a relaxing and welcoming environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly, assess their skincare or tanning needs, and recommend appropriate treatments or products
Operate various tanning equipment including spray tan booths, airbrush systems, UV tanning beds, and red light therapy devices
Apply tanning solutions such as dihydroxyacetone (DHA), erythrulose, tyrosine products, walnut extract, and henna with precision and care
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all equipment and treatment areas to ensure client safety
Upsell skincare products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
Handle cash transactions accurately while managing appointment scheduling and client records
Educate clients on aftercare procedures to maximize results and promote repeat visits

Experience

Prior experience in customer service or spa settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Familiarity with spray tan booth operation, UV tanning beds, or red light therapy devices is a plus
Knowledge of cosmetology practices related to tanning solutions application is advantageous
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and build rapport with clients
Ability to follow sanitation protocols diligently and maintain a professional appearance at all times
