We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our dynamic pediatric practice. Perfect for medical graduate students looking for clinical experience.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with healthcare providers, enhance your medical documentation skills, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting quality patient care while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy in medical records.

Duties

Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation
Assist healthcare providers with managing electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including data entry and updates
Support physicians by documenting patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Maintain organized, up-to-date medical records in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies
Facilitate effective communication between providers and patients through accurate documentation of interactions
Collaborate with medical staff to improve documentation workflows and ensure seamless record management

Requirements

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately document clinical information
