Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure the seamless flow of materials through our warehouse. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a motivated team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation, supporting e-commerce fulfillment and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400, maintaining precise inventory records and conducting regular cycle counts.
Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing training on safety protocols, equipment operation (including forklift use), and process adherence.
Coordinate warehouse distribution efforts to optimize space utilization and streamline logistics workflows.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities.
Oversee heavy lifting tasks and mechanical equipment maintenance, ensuring safe handling of materials at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with strong leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge of inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse distribution.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical handling equipment; forklift certification is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent platforms like Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong understanding of materials handling best practices, heavy lifting safety protocols, and OSHA regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus.
